From the heart of British circus, the country’s favourite touring family show will be celebrating its 23rd Tour with a truly fantastic galaxy of Big Top Stars.

Circus Starr “The Circus with a Purpose” will visit more than 70 towns throughout the country, with a packed programme of laughter and thrills for all the family.

The UK’s leading Ring Mistress Tracy Jones brings grace, skill and sheer beauty to the world class line up with her international acclaimed Corde Lisse act.

A favourite with Circus Starr, The Julio Troupe from Bulgaria once again returns with their thrilling acrobatics.  Their springboard acrobatics will have people on the edge of their seats with excitement and the Russian Swing seems to enable them to defy gravity.

It’s laughter all the way with the hilarious antics of Duo Delbosq whose infectious style of physical comedy knows no boundaries of language or age when it comes to pure entertainment. Firm favourites with circus audiences throughout France and Spain, they come direct from the spectacular Gandey's Circus tour.

The outstanding Argentinean Gaucho, as featured in the Paul O’Grady Show, with the famed Bolas Dance of Courage set to wow any audience.

On Tuesday 1st June 2010 Circus Starr was very proud to launch as a Social Enterprise and become a member of The Social Enterprise Coalition.

This underpins what Circus Starr as a company has been doing for over the last 23 years - raising the profiles of local and vital charities and donating tickets to these local communities, through the art of circus.

Like other Social Enterprises such as
The Big Issue
and Jamie Oliver’s restaurant 15, social and community purpose is at the very heart of Circus Starr.

Circus Starr’s unique ethos is to raise thousands of pounds for local charities from the advance sales of tickets to local businesses. These tickets can then be donated to local community groups who otherwise would not get the chance to enjoy the magic of circus.

With this kind support from local businesses, in 2009 Circus Starr donated over £744,845 worth of tickets to UK communities and we are dedicated to beating this target in 2010.
